When You Are Repairing the Same Plumbing Over and Over

Individual leak repairs make sense right up until they do not. Once you have patched copper in three places in two years, or the hot water pressure has fallen off everywhere in the house, the pipe is telling you it is finished.

Older North Jersey housing stock is full of galvanized steel supply lines that rust closed from the inside. The symptoms creep up on you: brown water first thing in the morning, a shower that drops off when someone runs the kitchen sink, and fittings that weep the moment they are disturbed.

What Our Repiping Service Includes

We start by mapping the existing system. Which lines are original, which have already been replaced, where the runs travel, and whether the problem is the whole house or one bad branch. Sometimes a partial repipe of the worst section is the sensible answer, and we will tell you that rather than sell the larger job.

For a full repipe we plan routing to limit the drywall we open, replace hot and cold distribution, update shutoff valves and fixture connections, and pressure test before anything closes back up. We keep water on as much as the schedule allows and stage the work so you know what each day looks like.

Signs Your Home May Need Repiping

  • Repeated pinhole leaks in copper piping
  • Rusty or discolored water at the tap
  • Galvanized steel supply lines still in service
  • Pressure drops when a second fixture runs
  • Green staining or corrosion on visible pipe
  • Polybutylene piping anywhere in the house
  • Fittings that leak whenever they are touched
  • Hot side noticeably weaker than the cold

Noticing any of these? Call (201) 245-7772 or request service online. Same-day appointments across North Jersey.

Our Repiping Process

  1. Assess the existing system

We identify pipe materials, trace the runs, check pressure, and determine whether the whole house or one section needs replacement.

  2. Scope and quote

You get a written scope, an upfront price under our No Worries Pricing, and a realistic schedule before any work begins.

  3. Plan the routing

We lay out new runs through existing chases, closets and ceilings so we open as little finished surface as the job allows.

  4. Install and pressure test

New copper or PEX distribution, new valves and fixture connections, then a pressure test on the completed system.

  5. Inspect and close up

We meet the required inspection, close the openings we made, and walk the house with you before we leave.

Repiping Options We Offer

Whole-home repiping

Replacing all hot and cold distribution piping from the main shutoff out to every fixture in the house.

Partial repiping

Replacing the worst runs, such as a failing galvanized branch, when the rest of the system is still sound.

Copper repiping

Type L copper where you want a rigid, familiar system and the routing supports installing it.

PEX repiping

Flexible PEX runs that use fewer fittings and require less demolition to get into place.

Galvanized and polybutylene replacement

Targeted removal of the pipe materials known to fail and to cause water quality complaints.

Valve and shutoff upgrades

New main and fixture shutoffs so the next small repair does not mean shutting down the entire house.

Repiping FAQs

How long does a repipe take?

It depends on the size of the home, the number of bathrooms and how accessible the runs are. We give you a schedule along with the quote instead of a generic estimate.

Will I be without water the whole time?

No. We stage the work so water is back on at the end of most working days, and we tell you in advance about any planned shutdown.

Copper or PEX, which should I choose?

Both are good systems. Copper is rigid and familiar. PEX uses fewer fittings and needs less demolition to install. We will walk through the trade-offs for your specific house.

Do you patch the drywall afterward?

We close and patch the openings we make. The quote spells out where our finish work ends so there are no surprises at the end of the job.

Is financing available?

Yes. We offer financing through Synchrony, and first-time customers receive $25 off their service.
